Proverbs 30:18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
We see in these in these scriptures four things that are really hard for the common person to understand. How a huge bird like the eagle can fly like he does and you cannot see where he came from or a trail he left. How a snake can slither across a rock and not slide off. How a big ship can plow through the ocean and not leave a trace of its path. How two people who are destined of God to become one can single each other out in society and make a commitment to bond together for life. Spiritually we could see in the eagle the symbol of God. In the serpent, we see the symbol of Satan. The ship would we see the church. In the man and maid we see Christ with His bride. Then what else is incomprehensible is how an adulterous person can perform the acts they do and say I have done nothing wrong. This adulterous person is not only deceiving others but themselves as well. There heart is so hardened that they feel no guilt and shame. We need to be in prayer that God gives us the wisdom and knowledge to understand the things we need to and the ability to be a witness to those who cannot see the error of their ways.
