Proverbs 30:15-16

Proverbs 30:15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.

These two verses let us know just how bad it is when someone or something cannot be satisfied The horse leach here is an example of something that never lets go until it has gotten all it can or someone pulls it off. It tells there are four things are are never satisfied, first the grave or hell, we read that it enlarges everyday because people do not seek God. The earth is never satisfied with its’ need for water, it drinks all that comes from the rain. The barren womb, most women desire children and if they cannot have them they will sometimes adopted to satisfy that need. The last thing is fire , for it to keep burning it has to constantly have fuel of some kind to stay burning. You may ask what is the significance of this and I would say that it shows we should desire the things from God that will help us continue to be more like Jesus and never be satisfied till we get to heaven.
