1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Now Paul reminds us that before we were saved we to committed some of theses sins and it was the purpose of Christ who came to save us from those sins. We were washed by a spiritual cleansing and regeneration. Sanctified being set apart to a new behavior of obedience and holiness. Justified which means just as if we had never sinned. We are clothed in the righteousness of Christ because in His death our sins were put to His account. so that His righteousness might be put to an account, so that we might be blessed. Finally we see and know the Holy Spirit is the agent of salvation’s transformation. Everyone who ever lived has sinned and come short of the glory of God but He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and wash us in His precious blood. We are saved by the grace of God. When He saves us, we become a new creature in Christ.
