There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.
These 5 verses tell us of 4 creatures that survive on natural instinct. The ant as we know is very resourceful they are constantly working in the summer to store up for the winter, you never see a lazy ant.Th conies, or rock badgers, were so fast and lived in the rocks and high places they could hardly ever be caught by man or animal. The locusts always travel in bands but never had a leader and were very destructive. The spider we know to seems to live everywhere and will spin there web in no time.The wisdom seen in each of these reveals the beauty of the wise Creator. These four show that labor, diligence, organization, planning, and resourcefulness are better than strength, thus implying the superiority of wisdom over might. Why do we ever worry about anything when God made us to be over the creatures of this planet. These depend on the abilities God gave them to survive and they do not question it. God has told us we can have what we desire if we will but put our faith and trust in Him and seek first His righteousness. So what are waiting for to have the things we desire.
