Proverbs 29:12-14

Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.

We see in these three verses the change from on extreme to the other. In the first verse it quit simply says as a leader leads so does his followers do. Corruption breeds corruption and lies breed liars. So a bad ruler will have corrupt lying people under him. Next we see that God gives life to all who are on this and he gives all the chance to make the right choice. Finally we that a ruler who rules with wisdom and righteousness will have his place with the people for a long time. Again these scriptures can help to decide the people in put in positions where they make decisions for us.
