Proverbs 2:1-5

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Verse 3 is asking us how bad do we what this wisdom and knowledge, do we want it bad enough to cry out to God? If we would seek the wisdom of God as much as we seek riches and other pleasures in our life just what would God do for us? Well verse 5 tells us we would understand the healthy fear of God, which with the wisdom of God that comes to us it will help us to walk in the paths of righteousness and understand the knowledge of God.
