Galatians 3:22-24

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

These verses begin by telling us that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. If you say you have not sinned you are a liar and the truth is not in you. We are forgive our sins if we believe that Jesus was our payment for our sin. It continues to tell us that before faith man was kept under the law. Paul personifies the law as a jailer of guilty, condemned sinners, on death row awaiting God’s judgment Paul was focusing on the coming of Christ because He alone could release anyone from the bondage of the law. Paul ends by telling us that the law was like a schoolmaster that made you feel you could do nothing right which made you long for the day you could get away from it. It helped us to see we needed a Savior and Jesus Christ came and took all the pain and sin for us. Please attend a good church today that can help you see Jesus can give you hope for a fulfilling life.
