Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.\u00a0 (Heb. 11:1)\u00a0 Many people can quote this scripture backwards and forwards, but they don\u2019t know how to apply it to their lives.\u00a0 This is because many people don\u2019t know why Jesus died.<\/p>\n
I know this statement may shock many people.\u00a0 They may retort, \u201cJesus died for our sins, so that we can be saved.\u201d\u00a0 This is only partially true.\u00a0 The bible is consistent.\u00a0 Jesus died to remove us from our own way and lead us back to God\u2019s way.\u00a0 (Isaiah 53:6,\u00a0 I Peter 2:25,\u00a0 Isaiah 55:7-9)\u00a0 When we return to God, we experience abundant life.<\/p>\n
