The Bible says that everything was made for God\u2019s good pleasure (Rev. 4:11).\u00a0 That includes us; we were made to please God.\u00a0 God is the Creator and the Maker of everyone and everything.\u00a0 It is His world, His universe, His people, His creation, His ballgame\u2026you get the picture.\u00a0 It all belongs to Him.\u00a0 God\u2019s good pleasure are those things which pleases Him.\u00a0 What pleases God is faith.\u00a0 For without faith it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6).\u00a0 Also, God is pleased by proper spiritual worship.\u00a0 In man\u2019s case, that means from a sincere reverent heart.\u00a0 The Bible says that God\u2019s is Spirit, and He is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23, 24).<\/p>\n

Everything that God created was made to give Him glory.\u00a0 As Creator, God is worthy of all glory.\u00a0 This is not only because creation owes its existence to God, but also because He is morally perfect.\u00a0 He is excellent in His workings. He is superior. He is supreme.\u00a0 He is all knowing, all seeing, omnipresent, and all loving.\u00a0 In short, He is God.\u00a0 He is the only wise God.\u00a0 If anyone was due praise and worship; it is the Lord.\u00a0 When God\u2019s creation responds to His omnipotence (all power), and Omni benevolence (all love), by giving Him the glory, they are operating in the way that God created them to.\u00a0 When we respond to God\u2019s love, it pleases Him.<\/p>\n

Many times mankind is obstinate and stubborn.\u00a0 He refuses to acknowledge God as God, or refuses to cooperate with God by pursuing the purpose that God made him for.\u00a0 This insults the greatness of God.\u00a0 The Bible says, \u201cHow can the thing formed say to the One who formed it, \u2018Why have you made me thus?\u2019\u201d (Rom. 9:20).\u00a0 The word is also bold to say that even the ox knows its owner and the donkey knows His master\u2019s crib (Isa. 1:3).\u00a0 Even creation knows there is a God.\u00a0 There will come a time when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord (Phil. 2:10,11, Rom. 14:11).\u00a0 If we had an understanding heart, we would continually praise the Lord now.\u00a0 This would be our good pleasure.\u00a0 Because He is God, if we do not give Him the glory that is due His name, even the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40).<\/p>\n

Why think it strange that God is due praise, worship and adoration.\u00a0 This is what you were made to give.\u00a0 Heart offerings are what we give to God.\u00a0 When they are given freely, they will look and smell like Jesus.\u00a0 This is what pleases God.\u00a0 God speaks concerning Jesus:\u00a0 \u201cThis is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased\u201d (Matt. 3:17).\u00a0 Jesus is also the offering that is accepted by God (Heb. 10:6,7).\u00a0 Glorify the Lord.\u00a0 It is a stubborn heart who strives against the acknowledgement of the greatness of God.\u00a0 Even the rocks, trees, and animals know better than that.<\/p>\n
