Car 54, Where are you?

Car 54, Where Are You? I don’t know if you remember this old show or not; it was one of my favorites as a child. I always loved watching Officer Muldoon – even after he turned into Herman Munster.

By the way, this Car 54 is in Tunica, MS.

In a recent trip to Tunica, we stayed at Sam’s Town Casino and hotel. I do not gamble, so every time we go, I have to find other things to do – this time I walked around the hotel and checked out the fish pond in the front of the hotel. While it was cool and slightly rainy while we were there, I still enjoyed walking around the water – inside the hotel it’s all hustle and bustle, but outside is this lovely little oasis of quiet and peace.

Sunset near Tunica

One of my favorite things to ‘shoot’ is sky scenes, especially when the clouds are so beautiful. I’ve always imagined Jesus’  return will look similar to this. That old song says, ‘the clouds will roll back like a scroll’…
