This is a list of on-line resources available to everyone while we are restricted from our normal routines. I believe they are all free. If you know of any please send the links to me through the Library’s messenger so I can add them to the list.
Through the LPL:
- Camellia Net: See this note on how to sign in and search. Feel free to call the library if you have any questions or need help
- Mango Languages: Take this time to start learning a new language.
- TumbleBooks: The LPL’s TumbleBookLibrary subscription includes unlimited and unrestricted access from the comfort and safety of your own home, 24/7. If you use the app (found at the Play and Apple stores) you will need to use the username luvernepl and the password libra. To navigate through the applications see here for a tutorial.

- Ancestry.com: In light of concerns about COVID-19 and the closure of many libraries around the state, Ancestry and ProQuest are offering temporary
at-home access to Ancestry Library Edition for Alabama residents. Please note that at-home access is available on an temporary basis. until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Once they have you can come by the library for free access until the end of this year.
