Following God’s direction
15/09/09
Over the last few weeks and months, my husband and I have struggled to find the path God is wanting us to take. We’ve been going through a rough time with some situations – we both knew what we wanted to do, but we wanted to make sure it was what God wanted us to do.
Things seem to have opened up somewhat. Now we see a path ahead of us that seems to be the right one, but I know from experience that sometimes what looks right can still be wrong. A part of me wants to relax and go for it, but now it’s more important than ever that I dig deeper in the Bible so I’m seeing what God wants me to see.
Lyrics from the Crabb Family song, “Through the Fire”:
He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time
Just remember when your standing in the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
And He will take you through the fire again.
